New Tech Refrigerated Logistics operates a company-owned Melbourne depot at 97–103 Boundary Rd, Laverton North VIC 3026, serving Greater Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, the Latrobe Valley and regional Victoria. From our VIC base we run daily express linehaul to Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and connect to our national network in Perth, Cairns, Darwin and Hobart through our exclusive audited partner network. Local pickup and delivery is handled by our own metro fleet — never handed off to subcontractors.
Melbourne is the gateway to Australia's produce belt: the Goulburn Valley for fruit, Shepparton for dairy, Gippsland for meat and vegetables, and the Werribee South plains for market gardens. Chilled and frozen FMCG freight, delivered locally
Our Melbourne fleet moves chilled and frozen FMCG freight — dairy, meat, seafood, fresh produce, beverage, confectionery and liquor — at 0–4°C for chilled and down to -25°C for frozen. Full loads and pallet-rate freight are consolidated through our cross-dock facility. Every trailer runs monitored refrigeration, remote temperature sensors, GPS tracking and in-vehicle video surveillance, with live data available to customers through our self-serve booking portal.
We hold PrimeSafe accreditation — the Victorian regulator for meat and seafood transport — plus CODEX HACCP certification, ATCC Master Code certification and NSW Food Authority approval. Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance is independently third-party audited on a scheduled basis. Eight independent certifications in total across compliance, food safety and sustainability.

Daily express linehaul departs Melbourne for Sydney and Brisbane, with regular services to Adelaide, Perth and Northern Victoria. PBS-certified A-Double and B-Triple configurations carry up to 92 pallet spaces per run, legally moving up to 35% more freight per vehicle than standard configurations. Our Road Train Initiative offers customers CO2 savings of up to 830 metric tonnes annually, and in 2026 we received the Australian Refrigeration Council's Environmental Stewardship Excellence Award.
