COLD CHAIN LOGISTICS

Refrigerated Transport, Brisbane and Queensland

New Tech Refrigerated Logistics is a family-owned cold chain specialist

New Tech Refrigerated Logistics operates a company-owned Brisbane depot at 111 Balham Rd, Archerfield QLD 4108, serving South East Queensland, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and regional QLD. From our QLD base we run daily express linehaul to Sydney and Melbourne, with regular services to Rockhampton, Cairns and beyond through our national network. Local pickup and delivery is handled by our own metro fleet — never handed off to subcontractors.

Queensland is one of Australia's most important cold chain markets: tropical fruit and vegetables from Far North Queensland, seafood and beef from the coast, and a Brisbane metro area supplying supermarket DCs, wholesale markets and food service across the state. It's a market that punishes weak refrigeration — heat, humidity, distance — and rewards operators with the fleet and systems to hold temperature reliably. That's exactly what we're built for.

Chilled and frozen FMCG freight, delivered locally

Our Brisbane fleet transports chilled and frozen FMCG freight — dairy, meat, seafood, fresh produce, beverage, confectionery and liquor — at 0–4°C for chilled and down to -25°C for frozen. Full loads and pallet-rate freight are consolidated through our cross-dock facility. Every trailer runs monitored refrigeration, remote temperature sensors, GPS tracking and in-vehicle video surveillance, with live data available to customers through our self-serve booking portal.

For QLD producers, wholesalers and distributors serving Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Metcash and independent retailers, we deliver to distribution centres, Rocklea Markets, supermarket back-of-house and food service outlets across the Brisbane metro area, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Ipswich.

Brisbane to Sydney, Melbourne and North Queensland

Daily express linehaul departs Brisbane for Sydney and Melbourne, with A-Double and B-Triple configurations carrying up to 92 pallet spaces per run. PBS certification legally carries up to 35% more freight per vehicle than standard, and our Road Train Initiative delivers CO2 savings of up to 830 metric tonnes annually. Regular services run north to Rockhampton and Cairns, connecting the Bruce Highway corridor into our east coast network.

We hold Safe Food Production Queensland accreditation, PrimeSafe accreditation, CODEX HACCP certification, ATCC Master Code certification and NSW Food Authority approval — eight independent certifications in total across compliance, food safety and sustainability. In 2026 we received the Australian Refrigeration Council's Environmental Stewardship Excellence Award. Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance is independently third-party audited through NHVR.

For primary producers north of Brisbane, the same one-operator model applies: farm gate to cross-dock to metro or interstate customer, no subbies, no gaps in the temperature record.

OUR STORY

Built on respect.
Founder-owned and led.

Damian Moore and Alex Parkinson founded New Tech Refrigerated Logistics in 2021 to fix what was broken in cold chain linehaul — high prices, aged-out fleets and layers of outsourcing between shipper and driver. Five years on, we run our own trucks, our own depots and our own people, cab to control room. Founder-led, service-first, no shortcuts.

FAQ

OUR CUSTOMERS

“If New Tech say they’re going to do something, they do it. When Scott’s fell over, Damian and the team picked up the ball and ran with it with less than a day’s notice. They’re up there with the best in the business.”
